RFI Ghana took the participants through the background of the foundation which was started in the 2011 as a peer group, move to Community Base Organization in 2013 and further develop into a fully-fledged foundation in 2015.
He enumerated success stories by the organization operations in the previous projects carry out in the North and wish the replications and support of partners for a successful implementation of Read Legate Projects.
He added that foundation has develop a number of projects which include, Orphanage Projects, Achievers Project, Redirecting Children Focus through Reading and Reed Legends Projects.
On the current projects thus Read Legends Projects, Mr. Issah took the participants through the projects document with details of the project background, outcome, initial activities and implementations work plan of the projects project which are into Five (5) phases namely the engagements of staff of our partners, distribution of materials, preparing the schools and learners within the school on reading materials and finally read legates’ selection event.

Read Foundation expand its coverage from four to ten in Tamale Metropolis

Read Foundation expand its coverage by adding thirty (3) more schools from Tamale Metropolis and Sagnarigu Municpal.

Read Foundation International did a survey on availability of educational facilities in Orphanages in the North and came out with an Orphanage project.

Read Foundation in partnership with Kannia Foundation is implementing project within the Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly(ACMA) dubbed “The Read Legates Project”
